Hybrix is a virtual computer: a realistic 32-bit machine with its own CPU, graphics chip, and sound chip. Everything runs in a web browser. Hybrix Studio is the workshop where you write code, draw sprites, compose music, debug your programs, then publish a virtual ROM cartridge that anyone can play. Whether you're making your first program, a calendar app, or an algorithm that wins at chess, you can always see what the computer is really doing, all the way down to the bytes.

  • Free updates for Studio 1: Every feature added to Studio 1 is included. A future Studio 2 would be a separate purchase, with upgrade pricing for Studio 1 owners.
  • Any future way to run Studio 1: If a downloadable Hybrix app is released, your license includes it. The license terms also guarantee that there will always be a way to run Studio 1, even if it's ever retired from the website.
  • Optional add-ons: Studio owners can buy add-ons that expand Hybrix Studio with new abilities or peripherals. An add-on bought for Studio 1 also works with later Studio versions that support it.
  • One license for all your computers: You can use Studio on any computer you own. Each license belongs to one user account that stores projects and publishes ROM cartridges. Licenses can't be transferred or resold.

Jamdac Instrument Editor
Make your music really rock with custom Jamdac instruments! This visual editor enables you to craft sounds from oscillators, filters, and envelopes. It provides a hands-on introduction to Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and sound synthesis.

32-bit Floating Point Unit
